Ice Time Reminders

The last club session of 2008 is Monday, December 15th. The last Wednesday evening session will be on December 17, 2208. There will be NO ice on Friday, December 26, 2008. Additional ice time will be available on Sunday morning, December 21st. If there is enough interest, there will also be ice on Sunday morning, December 28th. Please see Joy Mitchell if you are interested in skating on December 28th.

Congratulations Greater Skating Club of Youngstown

The Meadville Figure Skating Club congratulates The Greater Skating Club of Youngstown--first place winner of the MFSC 20th ISI Team Championships.

Halloween Party

The club's Halloween party will be held during club time on Monday, October 27th. Skaters with last names A-L are asked to bring a treat to share. Costumes are optional, but encouraged.

Freestyle Ice

Freestyle ice is available Fridays from 4:00 to 5:30 pm, Sundays from 7:15 to 8:30 am, and new this year, Wednsdays from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. Skaters may contract for ice time at a fee of $12.00 per hour. Walk-on fees are $15.00 per hour.

Skate Great

Lindsey Beers and Camryn Hellwarth competed at North Atlantic Regionals, held October 9-14. Carly Mitchell represented MFSC at South Atlantic Regionals, held October 14-18.

30th Annual Meadville Figure Skating Club Ice Show

More information coming soon about The Bright Lights of Broadway—the 30th annual Meadville Figure Skating Club Ice Show. Group numbers have been assigned and skaters are choosing their solo music. This show will be one of our very best yet!

Applications, costume pieces, and practice schedule will be handed out on January 28th and due back to the Skating Director by February 4th.

Practice Ice for Testers

Practice ice will be available from 9:00 until 9:30 a.m. for skaters who are testing this Sunday, January 13, 2008. The walk-on fee is $5.00.
